It's easy to imagine seven-year-old Sadie and five-year-old Mollie Shriver jumping rope with their classmates in this mid-19th century depiction of a popular school yard game. Even the grey and white cat in the window looks a lot like the Shriver House Museum Shop mascot, Allie.
